Major Project: Round Corners/Edges Test

I have tried testing the mia roundcorners bump map to help some of my model seem less sharp and more complex. I think it's worked better in some areas than others but with some more time spent on finding the right settings it could really help the model. 


  1. Next steps Will...

    1) Mess your modelling up a bit. Make it less perfect on a modelling level (vertical / horizontal etc).

    2) Paint 'dirt' where objects meet each other (pushed into each other) the 'boxes' on the angled walls.

  2. Note, you can also render out a separate Ambient Occlusion pass to achieve contact dirt/ shading or bake ambient occlusion into the textures themselves.
